Nice little water this, set in wooded surroundings, situated in Holmes Road, Eccleston, St Helens. Travel along Knowsley road past St Helens Rugby League ground from the town centre take your first turning on the left at the Triplex factory into Holmes road and the water is on the left as you travel along the road.
Many junior anglers because of the location size and depth and good sport use this water. All species can be caught on the pole or waggler, roach, tench, and carp the main fishing.
Used also by the Carp anglers as fish can be caught to 25lb and some bream to 5lb.
No night fishing anglers must vacate the water by 11p.m.
(Car Parking) due to fly tipping and other misuse due to the gate being left open, the council have now put their own lock on the gate. Therefore parking is now on the road outside of the water or the Park car park higher up on the left.
